What to expect after a Ceasarian |
When you think of a pregnancy downside you would most definitely think of a caesarean section, the cut being the biggest pain, but think of all the problems associated with it.
Not only do you have major bruising you can’t walk straight for a good week, leaving you with a back problem to top all the others issues. Not being allowed to drive for 6 weeks then having to depending on others for every little errand be it big or small.
Carrying anything heavier than your newborn can become dangerous as you can risk your wound opening up (what a thought).
Having other children can make it even harder keeping organised, because if you’re anything like me you will want to get on top of everything ASAP and that is simply impossible as your body just will not allow it.
On the up side (and yes there is one) you do get to spend that much more time resting and enjoying some quality time with your newborn as well as any other children you have while you are on the path to recovery giving you a chance to heal both body and mind.
Finally I must say no matter how hard it is to actually sit back and relax, that is the one thing that will help in the long run as the midwives will advise it is for your own good and you should not over exert yourself too much as you will suffer for it later. So ladies RELAX….
