Pregnancy stress poses illness risk (Channel 4) |
Children whose mothers suffered severe stress in pregnancy may have an increased risk of developing schizophrenia, new research suggests. The exposure of expectant mothers to serious life changes in the first three months of pregnancy could affect the baby, it found.
