Toddler’s mother not at funeral (Richmond Times-Dispatch) |
Toddler Javon Deleo, in a casket so small that a funeral director lifted it single-handedly, was buried this afternoon in Richmond’s Oaklawn Cemetery. His mother, Myasia Deleo, 21, of the 2200 block of Creighton Road, remained in the City Jail on charges of felony child neglect. No one posted the $4,000 bond that would have allowed her to be free to attend.
