Toddler Left Home Alone, House Set on Fire (FOX 4 News Kansas City) |
A 2-year-old girl who was alone in her home is now in intensive care after being injured in a house fire Saturday morning. Officials say someone intentionally set the fire at 62nd and South Benton. The toddler, named Lamia, was alive when firefighters rescued her from behind a bedroom closet door, but unconscious. Her mother was nowhere to be found.
