Evidence that childhood obesity may be leveling-off (KRON 4 Bay Area) |
CHICAGO (AP) - America’s childhood obesity problem may have bottomed out. New figures show the percentages of kids who were overweight or obese in 2005 and 2006 were about the same as in 2003 and 2004. Roughly 32% of children were labeled overweight, 16% obese, and 11% extremely obese.
